Product Specifications

Pitch and Pins

It features a transverse pin pitch of 1.27mm and longitudinal pitch of 2.54mm, designed with a staggered standard pitch.

Pin count ranges from 2×2 to 2×50 pins, with some manufacturers offering up to 2×40 pins to meet various signal transmission requirements.

Common insulator heights include 1.7mm and 2.54mm, with 2.54mm as the mainstream size, suitable for most PCB assembly clearances.

Electrical Performance

  • Rated current: 1A (standard), suitable for power and signal transmission in most electronic devices.

  • Maximum contact resistance: ≤ 20mΩ, ensuring low signal loss.

  • Insulation resistance: ≥ 1000MΩ.

  • Withstanding voltage: 500V AC (some models: 300V AC), effectively preventing risks such as electric leakage.

Temperature Resistance

Insulators are made of PBT, PA6T and other engineering plastics compliant with UL94 V‑0 flame retardant standard:

  • PBT: withstands 180°C for 30–60 seconds

  • PA6T: withstands 230°C for 30–60 seconds

    Compatible with wave soldering, reflow soldering and common soldering processes.

Operating temperature:

  • Gold‑plated version: ‑55°C to +105°C

  • Tin‑plated version: ‑40°C to +105°C

    Suitable for most normal and complex temperature environments.


Material and Structural Features

Core Materials

Contacts are made of brass with excellent conductivity and elasticity, surface‑finished with gold or tin plating to improve anti‑oxidation, anti‑corrosion, contact stability and service life.

Insulators: PBT, PA6T; high‑end models can use PA9T or LCP. Some are reinforced with glass fiber for higher structural strength to resist mechanical stress during plugging.

Structural Design

Adopts double‑row dual‑insulator or single‑insulator structure.

Through‑hole (DIP) design allows pins to be inserted directly into PCB vias for soldering, providing high mechanical strength and strong vibration resistance.

Some models are equipped with positioning posts or anti‑misinsertion keyways to avoid reverse installation and improve mounting accuracy.


Typical Applications

This component is widely used in space‑constrained devices due to its compact pitch and stable connection:

  • Expansion interfaces for Arduino, STM32 and other development boards

  • Interconnection between wireless modules (Bluetooth, WiFi) and mainboards

  • Signal transmission between sensors and mainboards in industrial control boards and portable medical detectors

  • Electronic DIY projects, PCB prototyping and pilot production

It meets the requirements of both small‑batch trial production and mass production.
