Product Specifications

Pin Count & Pitch

Fixed standard pitch: 1.27mm. Pin count ranges from 4 to 100 pins (corresponding to a double-row configuration of 2×2~2×50 pins). Some models support a breakable design, allowing pin count to be cut as needed to adapt to different scenarios. Insulator heights are available in various specifications such as 4.9mm, 5.5mm, and 5.7mm, which can match the installation gaps of different PCB boards.

Key Electrical Performance

Mainstream industry parameters are relatively uniform. The standard rated current is 0.75-1A, and the maximum contact resistance does not exceed 20mΩ, reducing signal transmission loss. The minimum insulation resistance is 1000MΩ, and the withstand voltage reaches 500V AC, which can effectively avoid leakage and signal interference problems and ensure stable circuit operation.

Temperature Resistance & Flame Retardancy

Insulators are mostly made of high-temperature resistant engineering plastics such as PA6T and LCP, complying with the UL94 V-0 flame retardant standard, and can adapt to the high-temperature environment of SMT reflow soldering. The standard operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C, which can cope with common temperature difference scenarios such as industrial equipment and automotive electronics.


Material & Structural Design

Contacts & Housing

Contacts are made of brass or phosphor bronze with excellent conductivity and elasticity. The surface is mostly treated with nickel underplating and gold or tin plating, which not only enhances conductivity but also improves oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, extending the service life of plugging and unplugging. The housing color is mostly black, and some can be customized. At the same time, some models are equipped with a "horn-shaped" buckle structure, which can enhance the connection tightness during plugging and unplugging and avoid loosening caused by vibration.

Advantages of Right-Angle Side-Entry Design

The 90° right-angle structure makes the plugging direction parallel to the PCB board, realizing side-entry connection. Compared with vertical insertion, it can greatly save the vertical space of the PCB board, especially suitable for thin devices, PCB board edges, and electronic modules with dense internal wiring. In addition, some models reserve positioning pin holes, which can achieve precise positioning during installation and improve the accuracy of mounting or welding.

Process Compatibility & Packaging

This type of connector has two types: through-hole soldering and SMT mounting, adapting to different PCB processing technologies. Among them, the SMT type can be integrated into the automatic mounting production line to improve mass production efficiency. Packaging is mostly in tube, tape-and-reel or plastic bag packaging, which can not only meet the needs of automatic feeding but also reduce collision damage during storage and transportation. Most products comply with the RoHS environmental protection standard.

Typical Application Scenarios

Due to its high space utilization and stable connection, it has a wide range of application scenarios. In the industrial field, it can be used for module interconnection of PLC control boards and industrial automation equipment; in the medical field, it is suitable for lateral connection of internal boards such as portable testing instruments and monitors; in consumer electronics and automotive electronics, it can be used for circuit board connection of on-board navigation LCD panels and small digital devices, and also for signal transmission between electronic components that require compact layout such as computer equipment and security equipment.
