0.5mm pitch board-to-board dual-slot male connectors are key components for high-density, slim electronic devices.

With an ultra-fine 0.5mm pitch for high space efficiency and a dual-slot structure for enhanced connection stability, they act as the male mating side, usually paired with female connectors of the same specification to provide reliable signal and power transmission between PCBs.


Core Structure & Key Parameters

Ultra-fine 0.5mm Pitch

As a mainstream specification for high-density interconnection, the 0.5mm pitch allows a large number of contacts in limited space.

Pin count ranges from 8P to 120P, and can be extended up to 200P, suitable for multi-channel complex signal transmission.

Compared with 0.8mm pitch, it greatly improves PCB space utilization, making it ideal for ultra-slim, highly integrated devices.

Dual-Slot & Male Connector Design

The dual-slot structure features two symmetrical upper and lower slots, providing dual locking and positioning when mated with the female connector.

This significantly improves vibration resistance compared with single-slot types and effectively prevents loosening caused by device movement.

As a male connector, it has protruding contacts and is soldered to one PCB, then precisely mated with a matching 0.5mm board-to-board dual-slot female connector.

Stack height ranges from 2.0mm to 8.5mm:

  • Low-profile versions (H2.0, H3.0) for wearable devices

  • Higher versions (H6.0–8.5mm) for industrial modules with larger board spacing.


Material Selection & Core Performance

Material Configuration

  • Contacts: phosphor bronze or copper alloy with excellent conductivity and elasticity, mostly gold-plated; some use nickel underplating plus gold plating to reduce contact resistance and improve oxidation and wear resistance.

  • Insulator: high-temperature LCP engineering plastic, UL94 V‑0 flame retardant, resistant to SMT reflow soldering temperatures for automated mass production.

Stable Electrical & Mechanical Performance

Electrical performance

  • Rated current: 0.4A–0.5A

  • Rated voltage: approx. 50V AC

  • Maximum contact resistance: ≤ 30mΩ

  • Insulation resistance: ≥ 100MΩ

    Ensures stable, low-loss signal transmission.

Mechanical performance

  • Some floating types support ±0.5mm alignment tolerance in X and Y axes to compensate for assembly deviation.

  • Mating cycle life meets general device requirements.

  • Operating temperature: -40℃ to +105℃, suitable for most working environments.
