Our 1.27mm/2.0mm/2.54mm series female header connectors are available in through-hole (DIP), surface-mount (SMT), and right-angle types. As standardized interconnect components designed for high-density circuit connections, they are compatible with pin headers and wire harness terminals of the corresponding pitch. II. Core Product Features

Full Range of Pitches for Various Circuit Densities

Covering three industry-standard pitches: 1.27mm, 2.0mm and 2.54mm to meet different layout requirements:

  • 1.27mm: ultra-dense layout for space-limited equipment such as micro industrial control boards and sensor modules;

  • 2.0mm: balanced density and stability, commonly used in communication equipment and automotive electronic control units;

  • 2.54mm: universal standard for development boards, instruments and meters, compatible with mainstream pin headers and wiring harnesses.

All pitches support single-row / dual-row structures with pin counts from 2–64Pin, customizable to meet various signal and power transmission demands.

Three Mounting Types for Flexible PCB Design

Through-Hole (DIP):

Pins are inserted vertically into PCB through-holes for high bonding strength, excellent vibration resistance and stable insertion force. Ideal for industrial control boards, servo drives and other high-vibration environments. Thickened pins effectively prevent cold joints and solder detachment.

Surface-Mount (SMT):

Compatible with automatic placement machines with mounting accuracy ≤±0.08mm, supports reflow soldering. Low-profile design down to 2.2mm saves vertical PCB space, suitable for slim smart devices and portable medical instruments.

Right-Angle:

90° bent pins for horizontal signal transfer, avoiding vertical wiring conflicts. Available in 90° horizontal and 180° straight types, widely used in communication backplanes and industrial all-in-one interface modules.

High-Stability Connection for Reliable Signal Transmission

Terminals are made of high-purity oxygen-free copper with gold plating ≥0.3μm, contact resistance ≤20mΩ, providing excellent oxidation and wear resistance for low signal loss. Dual-row connectors feature staggered terminals to reduce crosstalk, with impedance controlled at 50Ω±5Ω for high-frequency applications.

Dual-contact internal clips ensure insertion force of 0.8–1.2N per pin, smooth operation without jamming. Insertion life exceeds 5000 cycles, far exceeding industry averages.

Excellent Insulation & Wide Operating Temperature

Housing uses UL94 V-0 flame-retardant engineering plastic, insulation resistance ≥1000MΩ, withstand voltage ≥AC500V, effectively preventing short circuits and ensuring safety. Black casing provides light shielding and easy identification.

Stable operating temperature range: -40℃ ~ 105℃, resistant to cracking in low temperatures and contact failure in high temperatures, suitable for industrial, automotive and outdoor environments.

Q1: Is the insertion force the same for all three pitches?

A1: No. Insertion force increases with pitch:

Q2: What are the reflow soldering parameters for SMT types?

A2: Peak temperature: 260℃±5℃

Time above 245℃: ≤10 seconds

Total cycle: 3–5 minutes

Gradual cooling recommended to avoid housing deformation.

Q3: Do you support shielded female headers?

A3: Yes. We can add metal shielding with shielding effectiveness ≥80dB@1GHz to resist electromagnetic interference for high-speed communication and medical equipment. Please provide required shielding level and dimensions.
