This single-slot 0.8BTB male connector H4.6 is a board-to-board connector suitable for medium power and various scenarios. With a 0.8mm pitch, it balances the connection density and assembly fault tolerance. The 4.6mm height is suitable for most conventional thickness equipment for board layout. The single-slot male connector's structure design ensures precise alignment. The following will provide a detailed analysis based on industry standard conventions: 


Core parameters and structural characteristics 

0.8BTB vs. Single Slot: "0.8" indicates that the lead pitch is 0.8mm. Compared to the connector with a 0.5mm pitch, it has a higher fault tolerance rate during assembly, can reduce contact failure caused by minor deviations, and still meets the requirements of medium-density contact layout; "BTB" stands for board-to-board connector, which is the core component for signal and power transmission between two PCB boards. "Single Slot" represents its use of a single card slot connection structure. During the connection, it can precisely fit with the corresponding female socket, effectively limiting horizontal displacement and enhancing the stability after connection. 

Jack Socket and H4.6: "Jack Socket" acts as the active connection end. Its pins are in a raised design and must be paired with a socket of the same specification to form a complete transmission link. "H4.6" refers to the combined height after the male and female sockets are paired, which is 4.6mm. This height falls within the regular medium combined height specification of 0.8mm pitch BTB connectors. It not only overcomes the weakness of ultra-thin models in terms of anti-detachment but also does not occupy as much internal space as high-high models, and is suitable for most non-thin electronic device designs. 


Material and Core Performance 

The contact pins of this type of public socket are mostly made of phosphor bronze, and their surfaces are usually gold-plated. This combination can keep the contact resistance within 90 milliohms, ensuring the stability of signal and power transmission. At the same time, the gold coating can enhance oxidation resistance and wear resistance, enabling the insertion and removal life to generally exceed 500 times, meeting the insertion and removal requirements during daily maintenance or module replacement of the equipment. The insulator usually selects nylon 6T or LCP engineering plastics, both of which comply with the UL94 V - 0 fire safety standard. They can withstand the reflow soldering temperature in the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly process and operate stably within a wide temperature range of - 55℃ to 85℃, suitable for different temperature conditions in indoor and outdoor environments. In addition, the product generally complies with RoHS and REACH environmental standards, aligning with the green production requirements of the electronics industry.

Its moderate spacing and height make it applicable in a wide range of scenarios. In the consumer electronics field, it can be used for connecting the mainboards and functional modules of tablets and mid-to-high-end smart speakers; in the industrial field, it is suitable for internal board connections of small industrial controllers and sensors, capable of withstanding slight vibrations in industrial environments; in automotive electronics, it can be used for connecting small screens and automotive sensors in non-core high-voltage components; it is also applicable to office equipment such as printers and scanners, as well as medical auxiliary equipment such as portable blood glucose meters and small physiotherapy devices. With its stable connection performance, it ensures the continuous operation of various devices.
