1.27mm SMT Single Row Female Header is a commonly used board-to-board connector designed for surface mount technology, widely applied in various compact electronic devices. Its core features in terms of specifications, performance and practicality are as follows:

Flexible & Compatible Specifications

Pin count ranges from 2 to 40 pins to meet diverse circuit connection requirements. The single-row design with a standard 1.27mm pitch enables multi-channel signal transmission while minimizing PCB space occupation, making it ideal for high-density component layouts. Optional positioning posts are available for some versions to enhance mounting accuracy.

Optimized for Efficient SMT Processes

Specifically engineered for surface mount technology, it seamlessly integrates into automated pick-and-place and reflow soldering workflows. It can be processed synchronously with other SMT components, eliminating manual operations and significantly improving mass production efficiency. It is typically supplied in tube or tape-and-reel packaging to meet the feeding requirements of automated production lines.

Stable & Reliable Signal Transmission

Contacts are made of phosphor bronze or brass with a nickel underplating and gold flash finish. Contact resistance is ≤ 20mΩ, ensuring minimal signal loss, with a rated current of 1–2A. Insulation resistance is ≥ 1000MΩ, effectively preventing electrical leakage and signal interference to guarantee stable circuit operation.

Weather-Resistant & Flame-Retardant Materials

The insulator is made of high-temperature engineering plastics such as PA6T or LCP, compliant with the UL94 V-0 flame retardant standard, and can withstand the high temperatures of reflow soldering. The operating temperature range is wide: typically -40°C to +105°C, with some versions extending to -40°C to +125°C, adapting to complex temperature and humidity environments.

High Customizability & Wide Application

Customization of parameters such as insulator height and pin length is supported to match different PCB assembly clearance requirements. With strong compatibility, it is widely used in board-to-board signal transmission for various electronic devices including digital products, smart home systems, communication equipment and security devices.
