  • 产品概述

The 0.8mm pitch board-to-board (BTB) dual-slot male connector is a mainstream interconnect component that balances space efficiency and connection stability. With a 0.8mm pitch suitable for medium-density signal transmission and a dual-slot structure for enhanced anti-vibration and anti-loosening performance, it serves as the male mating side with protruding contacts. It is usually paired with a female connector of the same specification to transmit signals and power between PCBs in various electronic devices. Details are as follows:

Core Structure and Key Parameters

Pitch and Pin Configuration

0.8mm pitch is a standard medium-precision specification. Compared with 0.5mm pitch, it allows easier alignment during assembly and reduces the risk of poor contact in production.

Most pins are arranged in double rows, covering 2×4P up to 2×50P, and some models can be extended to 220P to meet multi-channel signal transmission requirements.

Dual-Slot and Male Connector Features

The dual-slot structure provides two sets of symmetrical upper and lower locking slots, which form dual positioning with the female connector during mating. This greatly improves resistance to vibration and horizontal displacement, preventing connection loosening during operation.

As a male connector, it has protruding conductive contacts and is soldered on a daughter board or extension board, to be mated with a 0.8mm BTB dual-slot female connector.

Stack height options include H4.0mm, H6.8mm and other common sizes for different board spacing designs.

Installation Compatibility

Mainly adopts SMT surface mount compatible with reflow soldering for automated mass production; some models also support DIP through-hole soldering.

Certain floating male connectors allow floating in X and Y axes to absorb assembly errors. Some H6.8 series support up to 8Gbps transmission rate for high-speed signal applications.

Material and Core Performance

Material Selection

Contact terminals are mostly made of copper alloy or phosphor bronze with excellent elasticity and conductivity, usually gold-plated (some with nickel underplating + gold plating) to reduce contact resistance and improve oxidation and wear resistance.

Insulators are mostly made of flame-retardant LCP engineering plastic, compliant with UL94 V-0 standard, resistant to high reflow temperatures for mass production.

Stable Electrical and Mechanical Performance

Electrical performance

  • Rated current: 0.5A

  • Low and stable contact resistance ensures lossless signal transmission

  • Insulation resistance: ≥ 100MΩ to avoid leakage and interference

Mechanical performance

  • Mating durability: hundreds of cycles, meeting daily maintenance needs

  • Operating temperature: -40℃ to 125℃, suitable for various indoor and outdoor environments

Typical Applications

With balanced performance, this connector is widely used:

  • Consumer electronics: mainboard-to-camera, display connections in smartphones and tablets; SSD, Wi-Fi module interconnection in laptops.

  • Industrial equipment: image sensor-to-FPGA boards in industrial cameras, signal transmission in PLC modules.

  • Automotive electronics: infotainment systems, radar-to-domain controller connections in ADAS.

  • Others: portable medical devices, high-end TWS earphone charging cases, ensuring stable signal and power transmission.
