As the heart of the connector, terminals are precision-stamped from phosphor bronze strip to a tolerance of under 0.02mm. This level of accuracy stabilizes contact force between 50–80g during insertion, avoiding poor contact from insufficient pressure or terminal wear from excessive force. Injection molding uses high-performance engineering plastics such as LCP and PA6T, all verified for RoHS compliance and meeting UL94 V‑0 flammability standards before entering production.

Mechanical testing is even stricter: connectors undergo 5,000 mating cycles at 10 cycles per minute to simulate real usage; vibration testing subjects units to 10–2000Hz oscillation for 4 hours to check for loosening.

Environmental testing pushes connectors to their limits: temperature cycling between -40℃ and 125℃ for 10 cycles, with 2 hours per stage; 48‑hour salt spray testing in 5% concentration to detect terminal corrosion. “A customer once required connectors for high-salt coastal environments, and our products showed almost no performance degradation after testing,” the QC manager notes.
